If you are like so many small business owners these days, you may work at the office, at home, and in the car. Keeping all the projects and tasks going while being mobile can be challenging. You need to be organized to keep everything where they need to be when you need to use it. Today, we will show you how to make a mobile office organization system.
First, let’s help determine what needs to be in your vehicle office. The list below is questions to ask yourself to help your mobile office get more organized and efficient.
7 Questions to Ask When Creating a Mobile Office Organization System for your small business
What is and is not working? Name the area that needs help. Which area is working effectively?
What electronics do you absolutely need with you? Do you have to charge these items on the go?
What will you get out of being more organized?
Do you have extra clothes with you?
What documents or files do you need with you? Do you have a presentation and selling material you need to have with you? Do you need a filing cabinet or a tablet to hold these documents?
Are there items that need to be shipped to where you are going? When do they need them to be sent? How much time in advance do you need to prepare the items?
Do you prefer paper to track your tasks or digital?
On a sheet of paper, write these questions and then answer them honestly. If there are others who work with you, ask them to answer them as well. There may be things they do that you do not do. A process that they use may not work as smoothly as it could.
After you answer these questions on a sheet of paper, decide what the most important task that needs to be done first to improve your system is. Then, break down the list into smaller tasks. This way will help you achieve your goals of making your office more mobile.

Products to use for storing papers in your car:
Look for covered items, and if it tips over, it will not mess up your files. As you can see, all the bins either have a lid or are strapped to the car seat. Any type of movement in a car can be an issue for you when you drive.
Products to use for storing personal items in your car:
These items could be things like deodorant, rubberbands, makeup, etc…
Products to use to hang clothing in your car:
If you travel and have to change your clothes, these items may help you keep your clothes wrinkle-free. You can easily fold up after-work clothing for a quick trip to the gym before heading home.
Note: be sure to keep sensitive papers in a locked box in the truck or not in the car when you travel around.
I hope this post helps you make your car office organized and helps you stay productive throughout your busy day.
